SAFE in conjunction with Geminus Corporation, was awarded one of 55 federal grants to combat the opioid crisis in our community. We were fortunate enough to be the only coalition in Indiana to receive one of these three-year grants. SAFE’s plan of action with the grant money are to Increase Community Collaboration, Prevent the abuse of opioids and Rx among youth ages 12-18, and Reduce the abuse of opioids and Rx among youth ages 12-18.
