Event Details

We recognize that mental health is a critical issue for our young people, and we all play a crucial role in guiding our youth toward healthy lives. I want to share information about a free community program sponsored by SAFE (Supporting Addiction Free Environments), the Crown Point Rotary Club, and the Crown Point Community Library.

As part of our “Promoting Youth Mental Health Program Series”, we will be presenting Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age.

This feature documentary explores the impact of screen time, social media, and gaming on kids and offers parents and families proven solutions that work.

Following the movie presentation, we will have a short panel discussion with local professionals discussing the impact of screen technology on our children. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the presentation for sharing and conversation.

The program is scheduled for Thursday, March 5, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Crown Point Community Library.
